The TVP Forum Is Live
Posted by Tracy on 6th April 2009
The long awaited TVP Forum is now live and ready for your questions, stories, or what ever might be on your mind. It is a lightly structured area where you can discuss prospecting & treasure hunting at your leisure. To get to the Forum, I have added a new menu button on the main site called “Forum” or you can go there directly by using http://gpaatvp.com/forum.
The forum is separated into two main sections and eight minor sections to help keep the discussions categorized. Here is what you will find:
- Prospecting & Treasure Hunting
- Gold Prospecting
- Treasure Hunting
- Tools & Equipment
- DIY Territory
- Outings & Claims
- General
- Club News
- TVP Classifieds
- TVP Saloon
The first six sections are pretty straight forward, but I thought I would take a moment to talk about the last two.
The TVP Classified section is a place that you can post items you have for sale or items that you may be looking for. Although we think this section will be a good resource for everyone, we just want to caution you to know who you are dealing with and what you are buying. This is not eBay and doesn’t have any of the security in place to secure your transactions, so I would encourage you to meet in person to make your exchange. Think of it as if you were buying something from the PennySaver
The TVP Saloon is there for those of you who just want to talk. The topics are wide open, but we do ask you to abide by the basic forum rules (i.e. no discussions involving race, hate, adult content, etc.). Remember that TVP is a family oriented group and any content posted should be appropriate for our varied audience.
I would encourage you to head on over and check it out. There is a registration process that you have to go through before you can post anything, but anyone can browse through the site.
I’ll see you there!
