All Chapter Get Together Near Silverton Colorado

The Durango Diggers want to invite you to the “All Chapter get together” Near Silverton Colorado in a old mining town called Eureka.

August 14th through 22th 2010

Eureka is a remnants of a old mining and milling town 8 1/2 miles NE of Silverton Colorado on State road 110. There will be plenty of room for both RVs and tents. Eureka’s elevation is 9,862. so remember a coat! The Silverton area has a rich and colorful mining history. The mining industry is every where you look. From ghost towns to old mill sites as well as mines themselves. Because this is the area has a vast network of old Mining roads. Most of them above Eureka require four wheel drive or a ATV. Besides prospecting, there are many recreation opportunities in the Silverton area. The Durango Silverton narrow gage railroad, jeep tours, hiking, wildlife watching and just getting together and having fun.
